Alumni Scholarship Program

Alumni Scholarship:

The Munford FFA Alumni was created and funded to ensure that top students with leadership potential who wish to pursue careers in agriculture can do so. The Alumni accomplishes its mission by providing scholarship funds to college students. Awards will be based on demonstrated scholastic ability; leadership in school, church and community activities; and commitment to agriculture or related fields.


TAGGED to Teach AG Scholarship:

The TAGGED Scholarship was created and funded by Mr. andMrs. Neil Bringle. This scholarship is to ensure that students with leadership potential and a love for the FFA who wishto pursue a career in agriculture education can do so. Awards will be based onscholastic ability; leadership in the FFA, school, church and communityactivities; and commitment to agriculture education. The Bringle’s were both former Munford FFA Students. Their philosophy is to continually educate one’s self through post-secondary education. This scholarship will be awarded annually to a graduating senior or a Munford FFA graduate who plans to pursue a career inagriculture education.

Past Presidents Scholarship:

The Past Presidents Scholarship was created and funded by the commitment of several past Chapter Presidents to support the president ashe or she continues their education in the field of agriculture.

Daniel Rogers FFA Camp Scholarship:

The FFA Camp Scholarship was created and funded by Mr.Daniel Rogers, Past State Officer and former Munford FFA Chapter Officer. Mr. Rogers was awarded a camp scholarshipwhen he was a student and has continued to pass on this opportunity to younger members. The scholarship will be awarded to a member that has proven their commitment to the chapter throughparticipation in CDE’s and fundraising; in addition to their financial need. (This scholarship is for current membersonly. Not Graduating Seniors)

I. Eligibility:

The applicant must be a senior in high school, accepted for enrollment at an accredited college, university, or community college in a course of study related to agriculture or pursing certification from a technical institution.

  1. The applicant must be a full time student and complete at least 12 hours persemester to qualify for and maintain the scholarship.
  2. Student must have been an active member of the Munford “Big Boll” FFA Chapterfor at least 2 years.
  3. The applicant must submit a completed application and all qualifying documentationno later than 3:00 p.m. onApril 15th for consideration for the fall semester.
