Approximately 800 FFA members, state staff, advisors, and state officers attended Camp Clements last year.  Camp Clements is located near Doyle, TN (south of Sparta, TN) on the beautiful banks of the Caney Fork River in the Van Buren County.  The camp is owned and operated by the Tennessee Association FFA. 

          The camp’s purpose coincides with the FFA’s primary aims and purposes of developing skills in leadership development classes, organized recreation, extemporaneous public speaking, program planning, award programs, flag raising and lowering, and vespers.

          Members attending camp need to bring the following items: sheets & blankets for a single bed, or a sleeping bag, pillow & pillow cases, every-day clothes, athletic shorts, dress shoes (black for those members participating as officers, in the FFA quiz contest, quiz bowl contest, and the extemporaneous public speaking contest), swim wear, towels, soap, toiletries, pencils, pens, paper, FFA manual, FFA student handbook, and official dress for officers, public speakers, and creed contestants.  Members may also want to bring a softball glove, radio, and a camera.

           There will be approximately 20 other chapters attending camp the week we are there.  FFA members will be housed in air-conditioned cottages. 

          FFA members may wish to participate in the following activities: canoeing, boating, fishing, rifle-range, ping pong, pool, shuffleboard, basketball, volley ball, softball, rook, dominoes, and swimming. There will be a chaperoned dance and a Talent Show as well.  Nutritious meals will be served in a spacious cafeteria.  Campers may wish to bring spending money for snacks, camp pictures, and meals on the way to and from camp.

          The cost for one week of camp is only one hundred and eighty dollars ($200.00) which includes transportation, food while at camp, housing, a camp t-shirt and a chapter t-shirt.  Form and Deposit of $50 must be returned by Friday – April 3, 2020. Remaining camp money is due by May 21st. Camp money is non-refundable. Please make all checks payable to Munford FFA Alumni! Our plans are to attend the week of June 8 through June 12, 2020.  We will depart at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, June 8^th and will return at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2020.
